actually regarding affinity, Chaotic Gore LBG + Bloodlust 1 will give you 30% + 20% = 50% affinity once the Bloodlust status is cleared. Critical Eye 7 gives 40%. Augments for Affinity Boost lv2 gives 10%. so you will have 100% affinity after clearing Bloodlust. Pierce damage ticks are based on elapsed time, not distance, and in Rise/Sunbreak, the time between each tick is much shorter and hits way more even on smaller hitzones. This is why Pierce, especially RF Pierce 2 (datamines show that P2 and P3 have about the same tick rate), was considered the best ammo by the end of base Rise.

Guess that depends on what you're using, although the Zinogre LBG, Despot's Wildfire, is probably the more common Normal one to use since it also has Rapid Fire Slicing in addition to Rapid Normal 2.
